This is the making process of the tunnel dress

This is the starting point of the process of the dress. this garment has been made in half scale to save time and so we can complete this task with in 1 session.

The first step was to add seam allowance on to the bodies, measure 2cm from under the arm hole, and cut the top bodies out.

These images show how we made a circumference. what we did is draw a line then squared down in the middle, using the standard body measurement for the biggest part of the body. in the circumference we added seam allowance.

These are the patterns we use to make the tunnel dress.

The next step was to measure both pieces of fabric 100cm long and 40cm wide, this was overlocked together.

Trace the pattern blocks onto the fabric, and cut out the excess fabric around the bodice.

Trace the circumference in a row, and cut out.

pin the holes together and stitch.
